The 12 Best All-Mountain Snowboards of 2021

Chase riding the Men's ProtoSynthesis

Snowboarding isn’t a one-size-fits-all type of sport. You can’t expect to buy a powder board and then crush jumps in the park. If you’re thinking about getting a board, one of the best places to start is with an All-Mountain board.

That’s because it’s designed for the whole mountain. You can cruise through powder and hit jumps in the park. This makes All-Mountain boards a great option for new riders committed to leveling up their boarding skill.

New riders always have one problem though. They don’t know what board to choose. Now that you’ve narrowed it down to an All-Mountain board, there are still hundreds of different boards to choose from. Narrow that down to one brand and you still have a few other options.

Wouldn’t it be easier if someone just told you what board to get?

That’s what we’re going to do here. We want you to spend less time finding a board and more time on the mountain using it.

Why Choose an All-Mountain Snowboard From Never Summer?

Glad you asked. We know that there are plenty of other places you can get your board, and that’s cool. We’re not trying here to monopolize the snowboarding marketing—we’re here to give you a great board.

We put our resources towards creating the best possible boards for our customers and have even patented some of our board shapes. That’s because they’re that good.

Never Summer boards are also made in the USA. They’re not made of flimsy material that will only last you one season. Our boards are durable and high-performance. We want this board to adventure with you, not sit in a closet because it got too scratched up on your first park run.

Before you find your board, let’s make sure you know what to consider.

3 Things To Consider When Buying an All-Mountain Snowboard

The first thing you want to consider is your skill level. Some boards are designed for more intermediate riders. You’ll want to go with the board that suits where your skill level is at now so you can pick up the sport faster. With the wrong board, you’re going to be uncomfortable or possibly moving too fast to be able to learn proper technique.

The second thing you want to consider is your riding style and the terrain you’ll be riding on. Never Summer All-Mountain boards are made for the entire mountain, but if you know you’re going to want to spend more time on powder than in the park, you can choose an All-Mountain board best suited for it.

And lastly, you want to consider the flex of your board. Every board has a flex rating from soft to firm. The softer the flex rating of your board, the better it’ll be maneuverability at slow speeds, locking in on rails, tweak grabs, and press-ability. The firmer your flex rating, the better your board will be for edge hold, responsiveness, and stability.

Here are the 2020-2021 Never Summer All-Mountain board line up, so you can narrow down which board is best for you.
