The board is insane. Not going to lie, sizing down from a Cobra 158 to a 152 was a mental adjustment. The Harpoon is best board I’ve ever ridden. Floats in pow, agile in the trees and carves. I’ve ridden early season CO machine groomed, pow in UT and spring at Squaw. The most agile board I’ve ever owned.

‘The board is insane.’ Thx JV!

I have been riding in WA and BC for 30 plus years. Turned 60 this year. Never dreamed I’d replace my West and Maverix quiver. Done! The harpoon is killer on all terrain. Nothing has come close to combine the feel of surfing and skateboarding like the harpoon. Big bottom turns and huge ollies all day long. Thanks for yet another amazing NS creation!

This orca killer absolutely rips! Its so wide so you can lay down a trench and float like nothing else. extremely nimble and so fun to butter, ya that’s right you can butter this thing harder then a muffin thanks to the medium soft flex and the absolute behemoth of a nose. defiantly stable through chunder and chop, the fusion RC for sure helps with that because you can put all your weight onto that tail and charge. super stable in the air at no point did i feel it starting to do its own thing and super cushy for those hard landings. would highly recommend getting this board it floats, spins, charges, carvs and anything else you throw at it.

I live up here and Snowmass Colorado Im ski patroller and a snowboard instructor I’m on the mountain every day. I cant figure out what words to use to describe this amazing magic carpet. in fact I went on the other day to try to buy another one because my son keeps stealing it from me….. We all know the Proto is a tough act to follow but now never summer just raised the bar yet again. Definitely and without a doubt add this surf board to your quiver.

Take it from Jimmy! Thx man!

This board is rad! LADIES, this is a unisex board! If you are like me and ride wide boards, check out this board. I’m 5’3” 115 and have the 144. This board has great float in PNW pow, is a blast through trees and carves great on groomers! It far exceeded my expectations and is now the daily driver of my quiver. If I’m unsure about what the day will bring, I grab this board because I know I’ll have fun. Thanks NS!

Thx Jess! I agree…it is rad!

Well.. Endless edge and it floats like king size inflatable mattress! You can throw anything at it, park, groomers, packed snow/ice, powder (will update when it will dump more of this fluffy stuff here in CO). This board is a Swiss knife of snowboards! Thank you NS for this incredible piece of joy and happiness!!!

      Thx Sergey!

I have been riding a West from 2015. Always though it could never be beat. Sooooo wrong!!! This is amazing, went from 157 to 152, got better float, snaps on a dime and surfs just like my progressive long board on an overhead day. Totally floats on powder, groomers are way fast, almost to fast, but the best thing is it takes the hits when it gets choppy. Bounces right through the chop without beating the crap out of you. It got my charge back!!!

      This is amazing…thx David!

I’m over 50, 6’1″, 33in inseam and 180 pounds on a 156cm Harpoon. I only get a chance to hit the slopes a few days a year so I need to make the most of it. Coming from a 2006 Burton Custom this board was a complete game changer. My goal was to improve my carving and confidence on the mountain. I was immediately surprised by how the board flexed over uneven snow and even just standing still it rotates easily underfoot. My Burton was really difficult to ride flat so it was difficult to make smooth turns. With the Harpoon I am able to take my time transitioning from one edge to the other resulting in a much more relaxed carve. When I get over my head with rough or icy conditions the edge holds evenly the the board tracks well. I’ve yet to have an “oh crap” moment where it surprises me with some unexpected change in direction. I just love the shape, colors and grippy topcoat of this board. I just don’t need skull and cross bones to make me feel young again. Nice work NS, I am progressing more this year than ever before.

I was lucky enough to be the first to demo a harpoon from Stumptown in Whitefish, Mt. After my first run, I looked at my girlfriend and told her there was no way I was leaving town without one. Returned the demo at the end of the day and walked out with my own. I’m 6ft and 175lbs, bought a 156 and this thing is sooooo floaty in the powder. I prefer a free ride/tree run style. I’ve ridden it in Washington, Montana, and Idaho and it continues to absolutely crush it in lots of different snow types and conditions. Best decision I’ve made all season was to buy a harpoon.

This board changed the way I snowboard. I usually take trips out west to snowboard because of the lack of great resorts in Ohio. Well guess who’s been going back to the small hills again. I can’t stay off this thing and haven’t ever had this much fun snowboarding before. I’ve been boarding for over 20 years and have had many boards and many sizes of boards. None of them even come close to this board. Super fast, crud busting, carve king that floats like a hot air balloon. I’m 6’ 1” 175lbs and got the 156. Perfect fit. If they ever release the ladies version again I’m getting my wife one. This is the board.

…haven’t ever had this much fun snowboarding before! Mission accomplished. Thx John!

Got to ride this beauty at snowbird before the lock down. Edge control is amazing, floating through deep powder cuts on those sharp edges with ease.
    Like Butta.

I’m biased but I love this board too Ben. My new favorite. I rode a ton of volume boards while we were designing this and Tim Canaday, owner/engineer, knocked it out of the park once again with this one!
