FREESTYLE ASYM TWIN
*Shock Wave Rocker Camber*
New for this season we bring you the perfect mix of the ProtoSynthesis and the Funslinger. The asymmetrical ProtoSlinger features the new Shockwave Rocker Camber Profile with even longer camber areas for huge pop and stability. More camber than any other snowboard on the market. A new smaller Rocker area retains our hallmark quick turn initiation and floatation. Now you’ll have a freestyle board that truly excels everywhere. It does what a freestyle board is not supposed to do. A soft flexing, smooth floating, crazy edge holding, insanely boosting oxymoron.
(X – Wide version of the original)
*Base designs and color may vary.

I’m 5’9″ 180 lbs size 10.5 vans hi standard pro. I’m looking for a wider board. Presently I’m riding 156cm boards @ sims juice 25.4 ww & arbor westmark april ed. 25.1 ww. So I’m at that 1 1/2-2cm boot overhang, that both ride fine, but I want to shorten that up and bring it in some and have a skatier, more stable base. Would the 154x @ 25.8 ww be suitable for me and what boot overhang would I be looking at, at a +9 -9 stance on a 154x ? I’d like to get to minimal boot overhang, maybe 1cm, no more than 1/2in. if that. Also, what’s the width at inserts ? I may be getting me one. I think it may ride better. Thanks

20 – 24 1/2 inches at inserts.
Compared to the Westmark you’d lose about 1cm overhang.

HOT HOLY MOLLY THIS BOARD IS THE TITS! Never summer has outdone themselves with this one. I cant find any board that compares to this one. Will be buying more than one. Parks on this are insane, backcounty riding also insane. Havent taken it through heavy powder but up to 2 feet and the thing will kill it. Favorite board ever, can do everything on this and when its too powdery i pull out a powder board.
Butters are insane, jumps are felt perfectly.
CANT SEE SWITCHING IT UP THIS THING WORKS BETTER THAN I COULDVE DREAMED

Hot Holy…thx Elias!

So stoked to order this board. Two buddies have it and have never been so enthusiastic about a board before.
Sizing suggestions? I’m 5’9″, 145ish lbs, size 8 boot… thinking 153 to permit for more all-mountain experience, thoughts though?? Super excited!!
Chris Harris –
At 145lbs you should be fine on a 153. Thx Reid

First new board I have purchased since 2000, and let me tell you, I am now a Never Summer man for life!
This board rides like a dream, takes me from the mountain to the park with no fret at all. Smooth ride in all areas not to mention just all around bad ass!
Chris Harris –
rides like a dream…thx Justin

Looking for what size I should get. my boot size is 10.5 US and I am about 5’10’ 155 lbs. What size would fit me best?
Chris Harris –
Hi Zack. You’re right on the line as far as regular width or wide. I’d go wide. More stable platform and with Rocker Camber being so responsive you won’t have to worry about it being slow edge to edge like a lot of wide boards out there.

This board took everything that was great about the Proto Type Two and Funslinger, then combined them into a do it all weapon. In the first few days I have rode this board, both in groomers and powder, the all mountain performance is undeniable. Its obviously softer for tweaking out rails and crushing park laps, but the new Shockwave profile improves the edgehold of its predecessors. I pointed this board down black groomers (50+ MPH) and double black powder glades alike, and while not as stable as my Ripsaw, this board held its own and I never felt like I was going to lose an edge or be out of control. Overall, this board is do it all park board that can definitely be used outside of the park!! highly recommend.

Thx Jeremy!
Steve Miller south Florida –
By far the best board I’ve ever owned

Absolutely amazing deck, they just improved the proto and fun slinger into the perfect resort freestyle board. Tons of pop, butters with ease, light weight, and the new shock wave profile is unreal. Had to retire my type two after riding this board, gonna have to pick up a proto Ultra to complete the quiver now. NS are the best boards out there, also rocking a Swift, and a shaper twin. The only problem is these guys have me buying too many snowboards!
Chris Harris –
We see no problem…Thx Chris!

Picked mine up at the factory yesterday, 157X, and broke it in today at Area 51 and in the outback. It felt amazing first run, hits rails, kickers, powder-I threw everything at it and it just kept asking for more!
I still love my proto for cornice drops and big mountain stuff, but this just became my daily driver for sure. If you’re on the fence like I was-just get it! You won’t regret it!
Chris Harris –
Just get it! You won’t regret it! Thx Travis

By far my favorite all mountain playground board. Holds the edge, rides thru late day crud with ease, butters and pops with no effort. Just wish Never Summer graphics weren’t so booty. Do yourselves a favor, have 7 year-olds mail in graphic designs for you next lineup. You’d be better off!

😐 😮 hahaha

Just think Play + Pop = ProtoSlinger!
This board allows u the feel needed for precision technical riding, while still handling business in slop! It has an aggressive pop perfect for setting an edge and stomping a landing! It is my go to for mega rails and slush butters. ProtoSlinger makes snowboarding easier and will handle anything! I don’t go on a trip without it! Everything’s a jib! Go fast take chances.
Chris Harris –
^^^Take it from that guy!!!
Ryan Cass –
By far the most fun board in there line up! perfect flex, digs trenches, high-speed friendly, jumps, and butters like a dream. What could you ask for more… Do you self a favor and purchase one!!
Chris Harris –
Sam Klein agrees with you Ryan!
